"Even though I like to do alot of my repairs myself, I took my 05 Yamaha Kodiak 450 in for some recall work, (tierod ends) the service dept. took real good care of my bike and had it out the same day without labor charges like other dealers in the area. "I recently purchased a 2005 Yamaha V Max from CycleShack. Having never been to this dealership before, and being as large as it is, I expected a strong sales presence. What I received was quiet, concerned, and professional assistance. Considering I haven't rode a bike in years, I asked some pretty dumb questions. They weren't treated that way by Scott, the salesman who walked me through the purchase. He even went to the extent of confirming various points with from other professionals at the dealership such as Vinny and Brian. No one pushed and there was no pressure. Everyone gave me space to make my own decisions based on their recommendations. I actually took several visits to make up my mind and at no time was I pressured to "make a deal". I felt then, as I do now, that while it is understood the dealer is there to make a profit, these gentlemen always treated me from the point of view of a rider and I sure can't gripe about the deal I got.
